Policy Agreement


🐶 SERVICE AGREEMENT / CONTRACT
This Agreement is made between Wags and Kisses Pet Care, LLC (“Service Provider”) and the client (“Client”) for the care of Client’s pet(s).

1. Services
Service Provider agrees to provide pet care services including, but not limited to, overnight in-home care, drop-in visits, and dog walking, according to the schedule and instructions provided by the Client.

2. Payment & Scheduling
All services must be booked and confirmed in advance.
Payment is due in full prior to or at the start of service, unless otherwise arranged.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Returned checks or failed payments may incur additional fees.

3. Access to Premises
Client grants permission for Service Provider to enter their home for the purpose of caring for their pets. Client affirms that home access will be safe, secure, and free from hazards.

4. Emergency Care
In the event of an emergency involving the Client’s pet(s) or property, Service Provider will make every effort to contact Client or their emergency contact. If unreachable, Service Provider may act in the pet’s best interest, including seeking veterinary care (see Veterinary Release).

5. Health & Safety
Client confirms that all pets are current on vaccinations and are free from contagious conditions. Service Provider reserves the right to refuse service for animals that display aggressive or unsafe behavior.

6. Inclement Weather
If weather conditions make travel or walking unsafe, Service Provider will adjust visit timing or activities for the pet’s safety.

7. Liability
Client agrees to hold Wags and Kisses Pet Care, LLC harmless from liability for injury, loss, or damage to property or pets, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Photos & Updates
Unless otherwise specified, Service Provider may provide photo or text updates during visits

9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided.


⚖️ LIABILITY WAIVER & HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
I, the client, hereby release Wags and Kisses Pet Care, LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from all liability, claims, and expenses arising from pet care services provided.

1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that pet care carries inherent risks, including injury, illness, escape, or property damage. I accept these risks and agree that the Service Provider will not be held liable for events beyond their control.

2. Pet Health & Behavior
I confirm that my pet(s) are healthy, vaccinated, and not aggressive. I will disclose any behavioral or medical conditions that may affect care.

3. Property Damage
I agree to hold Service Provider harmless for damages caused by my pet(s) to my home, belongings, or third-party property.

4. Third-Party Interaction
Service Provider is not responsible for injury or damage caused by other animals or persons during service, including off-leash encounters beyond their control.

5. Emergency Actions
In the event of emergency, I authorize reasonable action by Service Provider to protect my pet or property and agree to reimburse costs incurred.

6. Legal Agreement
This release is binding upon myself, my heirs, and assigns. I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily accept these terms by agreeing to policy and utilizing services.


🐾 VETERINARY RELEASE & EMERGENCY CARE AUTHORIZATION
I, the agreeing owner, hereby authorize the service provider Wags and Kisses Pet Care, LLC, and its representatives to obtain veterinary treatment for my pet(s) in the event of illness, injury, or emergency during my absence. I confirm I will ensure I have provided my preferred vet and emergency contact information prior to the start of services.

Service Provider will make every reasonable effort to contact me prior to treatment. If I cannot be reached promptly, I authorize Service Provider to approve medical treatment as recommended by a licensed veterinarian.
I agree to be responsible for all veterinary costs incurred on my behalf, including transportation if required.
I release Wags and Kisses Pet Care, LLC from liability for decisions made in good faith regarding my pet’s health and well-being.

🏠 KEY HANDLING & HOME ACCESS AGREEMENT
This agreement outlines how the service provider Wags and Kisses Pet Care, LLC will handle Client’s keys, access codes, or devices provided for pet care services.

1. Key and Code Handling
For clients keeping a key on property for services, a lockbox must be obtained with code provided to ensure access.
For clients providing Wags and Kisses Pet Care a copy of the key to be maintained, keys will be securely stored and labeled anonymously.
Keys will not be duplicated; or shared with anyone outside of Wags and Kisses Pet Care staff.
Keys will be returned to Client upon request or within 7 days of service termination.
For clients not providing a key but instead an electronic door code or garage code, clients must ensure codes are up to date in Precise Petcare

Note: It is recommended to have an emergency contact with an alternative entry method or key in rare unlikely case of a lockout (e.g dead batteries for door lock, or extreme cold causing garage door to be stuck frozen)

2. Security
Service Provider agrees to lock all doors and windows and reset security systems as directed after each visit. Client agrees to notify Service Provider of any alarm code or access changes.

3. Lost or Damaged Keys
In the unlikely event a key is lost, Service Provider’s liability is limited to the cost of key replacement or locksmith services, not to exceed $50.

4. Home Safety
Client affirms that the home and yard are safe for entry and pet activity. Service Provider is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing home conditions (e.g., faulty locks, electrical issues).
